Am 24.Februar 2022 wird das 1/1 Modell der Persico Fly40 den ersten (zukünftigen) Besitzern vorgestellt. Das Projekt wurde 2021 präsentiert. Design by PININFARINA. The continuous search for perfect aerodynamics, which is part of Pininfarina’s DNA, has led us to the creation of a boat that flies on water thanks to the total adherence of the sails to the deck and the more developed structure near the cockpit. We are proud to be part of the Persico Fly40 team and to accompany Marcello Perisco together with Caponnetto Hueber in the definition of a new high performance market segment.“ Die Yacht ist für Eigner gedacht, die damit an high-profile Regatten teilnehmen wollen. Der Rumpf ist in Anlehnung an Technologie und Erfahrung mit der AV75 (Teilnehmer beim letzten America‘s Cup) konzipiert. Die Geschwindigkeit wird über 40 Knoten erreichen, 7 Knoten sind die Mindest-Speed für den Wechsel von Verdränger-Fahrt hin zum ‚Fliegen‘ auf den Tragflügeln. Persico Marine bietet Assistenz für Regatta-Einsätze und Logistik. Zur Vereinfachung des Transports ist das Design der Yacht so angelegt, dass sie zerlegt werden und so auch kostengünstig zu ihren Einsatzorten gebracht werden kann.
