Für die Überschrift mag das gerade so ‚durchgehen‘ – die Geschichte kann nur mit der Korrektur beginnen. PININFARINA m a k e s the Bus. Im Auftrag von ASIASTAR den Bus mit der Typbezeichnung X9-3. Aufgabenstellung war, einen high-end Reisebus mit Italian Touch zu entwerfen. Für ein Unternehmen, das in China seit mehr als sechzig Jahren Busse baut. (ASIASTAR ist ein Unternehmen der Weichai Goup.) Aktuell wurde der X9-3 in Yangzhou vorgestellt. Mr. Jia Kaiqian, General Manager von ASIASTAR, erläuterte das Konzept anlässlich der ASIASTAR Business Conference: „This new bus is targeted at the domestic high-end tourism market and overseas high-end market, and represents a brand new platform for ASIASTAR Bus‘ high-end tourism buses. This new vehicle was developed in cooperation with well-known design house Pininfarina over a period of two and a half years. The styling and interior give a refreshing feeling, and the quality and performance of the product has been taken to a new level.“
